Job Description:

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:  

This position is key to securing the required level of mechanical and sales engineering support for the Contherm scraped surface heat exchanger product line.  

Key Engineering Support Responsibilities: 

• Generate working drawings or models in AutoCAD & Inventor. 

• Produce and/or revise various mechanical drawings of heat exchanger components, assemblies and equipment general arrangement drawings.  




• Provide drawing assistance to fulfill customer orders and/or new pending projects. 

• Contribute to ECN process to ensure all manufacturing drawings are current. 

• Produce drawing and text content for documentation including manuals or sales literature  




• Support material and pressure vessel compliance initiatives.  




• Validate equipment capabilities and performance via pilot plant trials on prototype equipment or via the use of FEA software.  

Key Sales Engineering Support Responsibilities: 

• Support Capital Equipment sales processes via  

• Quotation generation, order processing and new sales project management.  




• Support technical documentation management and distribution 

• Support equipment testing & demonstration projects with customers in lab and rental systems.  

• Support marketing initiatives and technical content creation to support Sales and Service  




• Develop video content to be used as training tools for customers.  




• Support and contribute to all aspects of technical training initiatives  




• Coordinate “Digitalization” efforts to enhance customer experience.

  EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION DESIRED:  

  
  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Food Technology) 

  
  
  
  

  • 2-3 Years industry experience 

  
  

  • Strong PC Skills, including Microsoft Office Systems 

  
  

  • AutoCAD / Inventor experience desired 

  
  

  • Working knowledge of heat transfer is a plus
