Sr. Fullstack Engineer - Backend focused

Looking for a Sr. Fullstack Engineer that is Backend focused. A solid Backend engineer is acceptable as well but it's preferred to have a backend focused full stack engineer. This engineer is going to work across multiple teams to develop production quality Cloud SW which is part of a larger HW/SW solution. This persons experience should allow you to work across the entire stack, helping the team design & implement a cutting edge analytics product.

Scope:

* Design & implement robust, production level SW in order to make complex data accessible through the Web & APIs.

* Build analytical/geospatial products that render & cluster 100,000+ points in a browser.

* Implement containerize data pipelines in order to transform geospatial & sensor data.

* Work hands on across the entire SW stack comfortably with an emphasis on backend design, coding and implementation.

Required:

* 4-7 years of full stack experience focused on backend. (backend engineering is also acceptable).

* Java experience. (Object oriented programming is a must)

* SQL experience.

* Experience with backend technologies: Protocol Buffers, Kubernetes/Docker, Git, Google Cloud, gRPC, Cloud BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud DataFlow

* Design and implement web apps with modern frameworks.

* Experience designing and implementing event driven data pipelines.

* Experience working in a fast paced startup like environment. This person must be comfortable driving things through completion with minimal hand holding.

Pluses:

* Abilities with frontend technologies: Angular, gRPC-web, TypeScript

* Design customer facing APIs.
