Greenheck Group has beecome a leading manufacturer of custom air handling equipment, packaged rooftop ventilators and coils by combining great people, passionate customer service, effective manufacturing representatives and competitive products. Greenheck Group is currently hiring for Shipper/Receivers in our Minneapolis, MN location. Shipper/Receivers start at $17.82/hour, plus $0.75/hour shift differential for second shift. 

 

General Summary:

Receives all incoming materials and parts in SAP.  Prepare items for shipment such as:  field replacement parts, warranty returns and Unit specific “Ship Loose Items” i.e.: extra filters.  Verifies information on bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records against information in SAP. Prepare unit for shipping by following checklist sheets to ensure all ship loose components are properly documented, secured and shipped. Perform final quality inspection check of the unit and complete the unit specific quality checklist

  • Ability to use a computer.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.

  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Effective interpersonal skills when dealing with vendors and coworkers.

  • Effective data entry skills.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to operate a forklift safely.

  • Ability to operate overhead lifting equipment and material handling equipment.

  • Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.

  • Ability to use pick lists and identify products.

  • Analytical abilities.

  • Ability to read measuring devices.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Ability to know and identify different parts accurately.

  • Be adaptable enough to learn the necessary functions in a timely manner and perform them within accepted output and quality levels.

  • Must follow standard safe practices that apply to all activities.

  • Cross train in grade 5 and 6 classifications.

  • High School Diploma or GED

 

Qualified applicants will move through the interview steps and must pass a computer skills test. Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical/physicaly agility assessment, and criminal background check if offered employment.
