The Spirit of the Position:

TheHumanResourcesCoordinator,reports tothe Human Resources Directorand supports the entire HR team to effectively delivera world-class employment experiencefor ouremployees. This individual will be the "voice of LAZ"for candidates who have been selected for hire across LAZ.Supporting the talent acquisition effort in more than34states, theHR Coordinatoris an essential part of a seamless transition for the 6,000+ new LAZ Family members who are hired every year!

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Partner with theDirector of Human Resourcesto support the new hire process as needed in the Home Office.

  • Release and review new hire documents and follow-upas needed to ensure timely completion.

  • Be "the voice of LAZ" to build rapport and establish a trusting relationship with candidates via phone.

  • Manage ticketing system and correspondence with candidates and regional HR teams throughouthiringprocess.


  • Update hiring reports and keep track of the status of candidates who are in the new hire process.

  • Respond tohome office and fieldrequests andhiringtickets with a sense of urgency.

  • Initiate and review pre-employment screening tests and results; suggest appropriate resolution.

  • Follownewhireworkflowto ensure processes are completed according to service level agreements.

  • Respond with a sense of urgency to any questions from candidates regarding the new hire process, including logging into systems, completing forms, locations for pre-employment screening, etc.

  • Provide general administrative and clerical supportto the home office HR teamincludingreporting,mailing, filing, scanning,faxingand copying.

  • Process and reconcileassigned HR-related invoices in preparation for payment in a timely manner.

  • Create and maintain relationships with the field, home office, and external stakeholders by representing LAZ with alignment to our core values.

  • Assist withadministrative functions related to LAZ systems for the HR team.

  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Associates Degree preferred.

SKILLS:


  • Prior experience with HRIS or other HR technologydesiredbut not required.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, strong Internet skills using external websites.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasksthrough tocompletion in a fast-paced environment.

  • Abilityto work well with team members as well as independently.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Abilityto communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage timein order tomeet set deadlines.

  • Proven problem-solving abilities.

  • Attention-to-detail and high-level of accuracy required.

  • Commitment to confidentiality required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2yearsadministrative experience.
  • 1-2 years relatedHRadministration experience preferred, not required.

Physical Demands:


  • Abilityto lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.

  • Abilityto sit for extended periods of time.
