JOB SUMMARY:.
A dental store clerk is a diversified position that encompasses sales, customer service, and assisting the store manager in the overall operations of the dental store. This includes interacting with students and school personnel on a daily basis. This position requires someone who is has the ability to work alone, is dependable, can multi-task, and is confident in their decision-making skills.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for selling supplies to students that are essential for their clinical studies, working with students and faculty in the process.
Provides on-site customer service to students and school personnel, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
Assists Manager in overall operations of the dental store
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Experience:
2 years of customer service type experience. Previous experience in a dental school setting is ideal.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Dental product knowledge and a basic understanding of how a dental school functions. Basic skills in Word, excel and knowledge of Point-of-Sale program.
