Job Description:

Overall Purpose: This career step requires expert level experience and must lead programs. Responsible for all aspects of technical project and program management that are more network focused and not IT or Software Delivery related. Projects and programs are typically high value long term strategic projects that involve new and/or enhancing technology, are highly complex, and require tight coordination and integration with multiple organizations and suppliers. Provides overall direction and technical or analytical guidance to project and program teams that typically span multiple organizations and may also include outside suppliers/vendors. Recommends and takes action to direct problem analysis resolution.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Conducts end to end program management of one or more programs containing multiple large projects, or portfolio management of a large scope entire portfolio that are company-wide, cross functional and/or strategic in nature. Leads cross functional teams to complete projects within allotted timeline and budget. Defines project/program scope and objectives. Defines project scope and objectives, directs activities of a project team, and identifies resources. Projects/programs are very complex in nature, with project activities that are distinct for each new project, are company- wide, and require a high level of analysis to create project plans for new concept programs. Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to champion project(s) across the entire organization. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Communicates to client/vendors/leadership.

This position will be responsible for developing and managing extensive program plans with multiple and multi-year initiatives including maintaining the new Enterprise One tool. Working directly with client application and business teams, and their leadership, to ensure their plans/roadmaps/timelines are aligned to the CSO One ID roadmap timelines. Communicating, brokering and escalation management of risks and dependencies across the program and done so at both executive and working team levels. Constant re-planning and coordinating with WarnerMedia and CSO product, architecture and development teams to manage deliverables. Assisting client and client support teams in migrations to the Halo platform from existing legacy platforms.

Responsibilities Include:

Developing and managing program plans aligned to Roadmaps - Position will interact with leadership and product managers from CSO, ACC and WarnerMedia to build comprehensive plans to ensure at least 40-50 projects/unique initiatives under each program gets delivered each year. - Position will develop detailed and mile stoned based plans that are aligned to AVP level roadmaps and will provide executive summary views for senior leadership. In additional this role will provide updates to the Legg and O’hern PMO teams and maintain the new Enterprise One Tool that Legg is rolling out across his teams.

Troubleshooting and brokering solutions to obstacles and issues between clients and CSO teams and leadership - As the program and the 40-50 initiatives proceed, this role will be critical for identifying issues far in advance and providing solutions, options and brokering leadership escalation meetings is/as required. Additionally, this role will quantity the business impacts and break down the technical jargon into understandable issues to aid decisions of leadership. An example of a major “rock” to solve is the recent uncovered of development preferences with one of WarnerMedia’ s business units/application teams that use APIs vs SDKs that are preferred/required by Halo team.

Customer Migrations to the Halo platform 33% -This position will be the primary interface with clients within Consumer and Enterprise application and business teams to manage the “GO” plans to migrate traffic to Halo from legacy platforms. All issues and coordination information will be trafficked and distributed/shared by this role to ensure development teams provide a seamless transition, so customers have no impacts. And when impacts occur, this person in one of key point people to advocate for the clients and real end user customers to expedite solutions and rally the right teams to address correctly. Also, to assist/be responsible for executive communication if applicable as well as cross coordination with business teams if customers impacted negatively in the migration.


Accreditation, Certification, or Licenses:  Bachelor of Science and Preferred: PMP


Training and Special Skills: Program and/or Project Management background.

Job Contribution: Expert level technical professional. Advisor on technical knowledge and ATT technologies.

Experience: Typically requires 8-10 years’ experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.
