Patient Safety and Accreditation Program Manager at Cottage Health in Santa Barbara, California

We're currently in need of an experienced healthcare manager to work in collaboration with the Director of Patient Safety and Accreditation to oversee the Clinical Risk Management and Patient Safety Program. Will be proactive in identifying potential clinical risk or safety issues which could affect patients, caregivers, stakeholders, or medical staff. Will also analyze clinical risk management data for performance improvement initiatives, patient safety initiatives, development of educational programs, supports the organization's compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory requirements, all with the objective to promote patient safety and protect organizational assets.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree; 5 years of management experience (including 2 years in clinical risk management), and intermediate MS Excel skills. Preferred: Registered Nurse with Risk management certification or Certification in Patient Safety.
