We are currently seeking a Wire Services Specialist. You will primarily be responsible for processing incoming wires and outgoing domestic and foreign wire transfers accurately and timely through the Wire Transfer System. The Wire Services Specialist works closely with our Banking Center Sales Teams, as well as other functional areas of the organization to ensure that client needs are met or exceeded while meeting corporate goals and objectives.

Essential Duties:

• Monitor the flow of wire transfers to and from the Bank through the Federal Reserve FedWire System.


• Initiate, verify and release outgoing wire payments in US Dollars and Foreign currencies.


• Responsible for delivering excellence in customer service with every client (internal and external).


• Ability to cultivate relationships with affluent internal and external clients.


• Demonstrate positive, proactive, and friendly interpersonal skills, as well as customer service support in a fast-paced environment.


• Research, review, and process, both incoming and outgoing domestic and foreign wires that are more complex.


• Release FX Trades generated through Old National Bank's Foreign Exchange Operations.


• Follow departmental policies and procedures, specifically regarding customer confidentiality.


• Ensure timely and accurate processing of wires efficiently within internal policy standards.

• College degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.


• 2-3 years' experience in a financial institution wire transfer operation, banking center or similar function


• 2-3 years of customer service experience


• Knowledge or experience in FX transactions preferred.


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written


• Good attention to detail and accuracy skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
