Is responsible for supporting the integrated commercial enterprise solution for DSS.
Provides guidance with the development of DSS’ enterprise solution, acts as a subject matter and content expert supporting the development efforts.
Functions as a clinical user advocate and consultant to maximize functional use of existing or new products, drawing on clinical knowledge and workflow experience.
Identifies workflow and process gaps in order to make enhancement recommendations and implement change processes.
Is self-directing, with the ability to identify priorities and mobilize projects in an orderly fashion to achieve desired results and effectively use collaboration in driving decisions.
Has the ability to understand technical issues at a high level and be self-motivated as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems.
Works with Scrum team and Product Owner (Product Line Manager) to create a great collaborative environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties:
Ensure User-Centered design standards are followed for Juno EHR
Coordinate User-Centered design standards with Development
Maintain/Update Design Standards documentation
Maintain/Update CSA Widgets Library
Work closely with all CSAs to ensure visual consistency across modules
Conducts design review reconciliation meetings with PLMs and CSAs as needed
Hold regular design standards and coordination meetings
Acts as 508 / WCAG compliance SME for the CSA team
Assist in the development and execution of design ideas for new products and features
Assist in developing strategies for both short-term and long-term design initiatives
Completes and submit to stakeholders the appropriate documentation required for the assigned project, which is also to be stored in the appropriate DSS data repository for review by DSS management as needed.
Helps to identify and mitigate risks.
Contributes to the design, development, testing and implementation of products through working with the Product Line Manager and the product team.
Manages day-to-day activities of projects; communicate with the necessary groups to ensure project deliverables are on schedule and within parameters set forth from Management.
Travels when needed, including weekend travel when deemed necessary (abiding by DSS’ established travel guidelines).
Travels up to 25% of the time as necessary to support the various products and/or as directed by Management
Required:
Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role
Proficient in design software (e.g. Axure RP)
Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
Is abreast of contemporary developments in EHR Software
Is capable of understanding potential clients’ workflows to make suggestions as to which Applications would be beneficial to them.
Possesses the ability to guide staff in the fundamentals of iterative development; agile software development processes and procedures.
Possess skills in designing workflows and user screens using a wireframing/prototyping tool.
Proven aptitude for understanding technical process and the ability to learn new software as needed
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
