POSITION SUMMARY

Performs all duties of shop office and parts in an accurate and efficient manner to support our mechanics, supervisors, and customers by performing the following duties.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School or G.E.D. and one to two years related yard experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities for Service Coordinator

• Open, close, and invoice shop work orders.


• Process mechanic labor in automated time system.


• Type quotes, memos, and letters.


• Answer Service department telephones and direct calls.


• Input and update standard job system.


• Process warranty including handling all reports.


• Handle all mail including delivery and pick-up.


• Process purchase orders.


• Maintain and update Service Procedure Manual and Standards of Performance.


• Maintain sell rates for individual divisions ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities for Warehouse Person

• Responsible for pulling parts orders, putting stock away, shipping and receiving parts.


• Receive and check incoming orders.


• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.


• Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.


• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.


• Keeps work area and warehouse clean.


• Other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee frequently works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
