Under moderate supervision, designs and implements processes and solutions associated with a wide variety of data sets used for data/text mining, and analysis to enable informed business decisions. Gains insight into key business problems and deliverables by applying statistical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources. With moderate direction, creates solutions from initial concept to production. Communicates results to a broad range of audiences. Effectively uses current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis. Typically uses data, statistical and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision making. Mentors less senior staff. Works in cross functional projects and programs. Routinely presents to management.

To provide leadership for development and administration of operational planning processes to meet service level and financial performance objectives Including resource scheduling, intra-day coordination, communication, and operational analysis.

Motivated self-starter needed for Customer Experience Operations Data Analytics Team. We are expanding in support of our Customer Experience Operations Organization. This position needs a proven leader that will bring innovative ideas and help us continue to grow our ability to support operational needs. We are looking for a passionate individual who will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

Responsibilities:


  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.


  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.


  • Filter and cleanse data by reviewing operational processes and performance metrics to locate and correct code and/or procedural problems.


  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.


  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.


Skills considered a plus:


  • Knowledge of statistical methodologies, techniques and tools.


  • Must possess solid communication skills.


  • Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.


  • Translation skills/ability to perform analysis and translate into business needs.


  • Participate in ongoing decisions concerning data collections, study design, methodology, and data analysis.


  • Analyzing data with standard statistical methods and tools (including SQL, Spotfire, Python, Power BI and others), interpreting the results, and providing written and visual summaries of data analyses.


  • Proven results in developing reporting, visualizations; using advanced analytics and machine learning to build business solutions.


  • Knowledge and experience with Big Data is preferred.




Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics or Finance. Five (5) years work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development and/or predictive analytics. Proficient in analytics software and applications. Good interpersonal skills. Good written and oral communication skills.
