Job Summary

The Director of Quality & Regulatory Compliance is a hands on leader who is responsible for planning, administration, and monitoring of consistent readiness of all quality management, regulatory requirements, and performance improvement processes.  The Director will oversee and coordinate hospital efforts to monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory, State, Federal government, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization standards of LRHMC, while leading the process of continuous regulatory and accreditation compliance.  The Director continually improves processes and services throughout the organization that impact quality and regulatory compliance programs.  The Director works closely with leadership, physicians, and frontline staff to improve patient outcomes, processes, and regulatory readiness.   A high level of independence in performance of the role and/or solution of problems is expected, however, demonstrated cooperation and collaboration is equally essential for successful functioning.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in health care-or business-related field required; Master’s degree preferred

 

LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Registered Nurse Required, Current CA RN license required

CPQH certification preferred

 

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 7 years current experience in hospital quality, regulatory compliance, or performance improvement or related clinical experience within the acute care hospitals setting required.
