Job Description:

Certified Medical Assistant needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Emeryville, CA!

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Urgent care and/or Pediatric experience strongly preferred


• EPIC experience

What You'll Be Doing:

* Patient registration and check in utilizing EPIC

* Create patient charts and scan documents

* Schedule appointments

* Prepare patients and exam rooms

* Obtain vital signs and document allergies

* Communicate with Providers and other staff

* Perform other duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

* Medical Assistant diploma or certificate

* At least one (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred

* Previous experience in Pediatric or Urgent Care setting preferred but not required

* Front and back office experience

* EPIC experience a huge plus

* Must have excellent customer service and communication skills

* Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Spreadsheet, Word Processing) strongly preferred
