Sr. Security Engineer at NTT Data Services in Sunnyvale, California

Job Description:

Key objectives (of engagement):

• Lead and capture use case requirements for Source Code Management access. Document the workflow, process and details.


• Provide assistance with network zoning & firewall change management, reconciliation and assessment of requests, procedure and workflow improvements.


• Assist InfoSec leads with other sundry tasks supporting critical objectives.

• Needs to be flexible with work hours (U.S. and India).


• Possess good analytical skills, excellent technical documentation skills and be able to understand the technologies and controls.


• Needs to have practical IT operational background from using and supporting operating systems (*nix) and command-line level use, networking and services.


• Prior development and scripting experience. (Python)


• Knowledge and understanding of security tools and controls such as Qualys, OS hardening configurations, firewalls, access/authentication/authorizations, security logging.


• someone with previous software development and generalist IT experience (e.g. DBA, desktop support, UNIX/Windows systems administration.


• BS degree preferred.
