The Systems Analyst at a journeyman level will provide a variety of support to ensure all systems are administered properly, data is kept up to date, and systems initiatives are managed timely. Systems to be supported are the Work Management System (WMS), FITT, SharePoint, and TRIRIGA (or their replacement systems).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Support the Systems Lead in conducting regular reviews of systems data in the FITT, the WMS, and TRIRIGA (or their replacement systems)
  • Con regular audits of all data as required by DHS, CBP, FM&E, and PMO policy and report the findings back to the Government.
  • Assist in mass data loads and data corrections in the systems.
  • Conduct analysis on systems data and support the organization in making sure all information in the Government systems are as correct as possible.
  • Support the Technical Standards Branch Chief with the organization and input of planning information into TRIRIGA.
  • Manage drawings, archives, CADD information, space analysis and TRIRIGA reporting relative to space management.
  • Support the Technical Standards Branch Chief with scheduling planning meetings, prepare and disseminate master plan background information, document planning meeting results, perform follow on analysis of master decisions related to priority and cost benefit analysis of alternatives (AoA), and release final recommendations through decision support structure.
  • Serve as a facilitator for a variety of meetings and ad hoc projects to include setting the agenda, managing to the agenda, controlling the meeting environment, tracking action items, distributing meeting minutes, and reporting to stakeholders to ensure everyone is up to speed on project status and next steps.

Supervisory/Management Authority:

  • This position will not have supervisory or management authority

Education and/or Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is required
  • At least two (2) years direct work experience; preferably in a federal setting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Utilizing and applying computer software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills; both oral and written
  • The ability to obtain a Clearance or Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and federal background check

Work Environment:

  • This position is primarily performed in a secured federal office setting, a controlled office environment as well as working outside in a job site environment.
