Child Saving Institute (CSI) provides comprehensive services to children at risk and their families through programs such as early childhood education, in-home services, foster care, adoption, early childhood consultation, pediatric consultation, and an emergency shelter.

In-Home Specialist

Child Saving Institute is looking for motivated self-starters who are passionate about helping struggling families find stability. Our In-Home Specialists provide parent education and compassionate support. In-Home Specialists offer education and support to parents in all aspects of day-to-day living including household management, parenting skills, building healthy relationships and emotional regulation techniques. Through our services, struggling families are empowered to build support systems, gain access to community resources, make better parenting choices, and begin to heal. This is collaborative and dynamic work—In-Home Specialists communicate closely with parents and children, referral sources and other agency representatives, and complete electronic documentation.

Full-time; 40 hours per week with rotating on-call responsibilities.

Job Requirements (include but are not limited to the following):

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field.


• Minimum of two years experience working with children and families in Human Services or related field.


• Minimum of age 21 or older.


• Strong Direct Service Skills



• Own transportation that meets agency requirements, valid driver’s license with no more than 3 points assessed against it, insurance that meets agency requirements and ability to complete a defensive driver training course.
