App Dev Senior Advisor

Develop solutions for public and private cloud platforms that meet the needs of the enterprise. Support users of these platforms, through user forums, and by creating automated solutions that empower users to self-serve. Support the continued maturity of these platforms, including operations maturity. Support direct to consumer cost transparency, for both public and private platforms.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cluster management includes uptime, performance and usability. Ensuring cluster availability and performance to meet the demands of platform customers. Enabling customers to utilize the platforms correctly through documentation, knowledge sharing or onboarding.
• Cluster logging into Splunk.
• Event Alerting with tools such as Splunk, xMatters and AlertManager
• Cluster Monitoring with Dynatrace.
• Storage management and administration of persistent volumes and integration with underlying storage solutions such as OpenStack Cinder, OpenStack Swift, NetApp NFS, NetApp Trident.
• Container Registry (Quay) installation and manage upgrades of current container registry, ensure proper integration with underlying storage systems and LDAP-AD integration.
• Support, enable and grow Dev-Ops CI-CD capabilities for the platform
• Will also be tasked with looking for and implementing innovations that help enable, grow support Cigna's cloud and more specifically container strategy. Inclusive of this would be to help position the current internally hosted OpenShift environment to operate within a hybrid cloud environment.
• Application Support, as an SME for Kubernetes environment
• Architect, implement and management of an OpenShift Cluster in a multi-master/node environment. Ensure design conforms to Cigna security guidelines and polices with proper ID authentication and transport encryption layers.
