Overview:

Provider Epic Credentialed Trainer

Day or Swing Shift

100% onsite

The EHR Credentialed Trainer (CT) is key to Seattle Children's adoption and effective use of the Epic Electronic Health Record. The CT uses the curriculum, lessons and training materials created by the IT EMR Training team to train end users on the Epic Electronic Health Record. In addition to leading in-person classroom training sessions for end users, the CT will perform a number of training-related duties such as classroom setup; assisting with training materials; facilitating study halls or labs; administering end-user proficiency assessments; supporting end users with at-the-elbow go-live support; and administering post-live refresher training or optimization training. The CT role is a 4-month full-time commitment, and will require participation in and successful completion of a training program. The CT should be able to work various shifts to accommodate a 6-day-per week, 18-hour-per-day training program to provide training to the large volume of Children's users.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience: - Successful completion of Epic trainer credentialing program within six (6) weeks of start date. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Minimum 3 years of applicable work experience. Preferred: - Prior provider training experience and expertise. - Experience using any Epic module as a user, trainer, informaticist, or analyst.
