We are seeking an Outpatient Social Service Therapist for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary:
- You will conduct behavioral health & addiction treatment-focused group therapy sessions as specified on the department treatment schedule.
- You will provide therapeutic interventions that are guided by the treatment/recovery plan
- You will perform psychosocial and behavioral assessments of patients and families to identify emotional, social, and environmental concerns associated with the patient’s diagnosis, treatment, and/or life situation
- You will provide appropriate treatment based on the psychosocial assessments and the recommendations of the treatment team. Performs individual and family counseling, provides psycho-educational resources and facilitates group counseling.
- Provides ongoing assessment of patient throughout inpatient hospitalization (as appropriate) to ensure appropriate referrals based on status at the time of discharge.
TriStar Skyline Madison Campus is a mental health facility with 121 beds providing behavioral health services to the greater Nashville area. Our psychiatrists, therapists, nurses and other specialists are dedicated to improving the lives of our patients. We are committed to helping adolescents, adults and seniors recover from different mental health disorders and substance abuse. Treatment programs are designed for personalized care and offer a variety of options including inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient care.
This role focuses will support the Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs for Adult patients with substance abuse and behavioral health diagnosis. The Therapist will lead groups based on evidenced based practices and work with our providers and nursing teams to ensure the success and safety of our patients.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other related health field required.
- LCSW strongly preffered
- LPC and LMSW candidates will be considered
- Two (2) years’ experience required, preferably in an inpatient setting (Internship can count towards years of experience)
- Successful completion of CPI within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
- BLS required every 2 years
