IT Hardware and Software Asset Management, IT infrastructure and IT infrastructure integration
An opportunity has become available for an IT Hardware Asset Manager (HAM) / Software Asset Manager (SAM) supporting the IT M&A team and their interaction with various VMOs in North America. The key role and responsibility will be to work with Non-Integrated Businesses, Procurement and other corporate entities to deployment and support asset management processes/programs.
Key Responsibility Areas:
• Ensuring all hardware and software assets, issues and requests are logged, managed and processed within agreed timeframes via the ITIL platform in use (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc..)
• Assist with asset management of IT equipment, general administration and housekeeping and being mindful of potential security risks as and when staff leave the business.
• Work with Vendor Management Offices as required to insure HAM/SAM tasks are completed.
Candidate Specification:
• Knowledge & Experience
• 5-7 years customer or internal user experience with HAM/SAM environment
• Experience in working in a busy IT department.
• Working knowledge of ITIL and ITAM programs like ServiceNow, Remedy, etc..

• Exceptional customer service skills, particularly the ability to empathize and follow through tasks to ensure end user satisfaction.
• Excellent organization to ensure that concurrent incidents are dealt with in a timely manner
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening, and questioning
• Comfortable dealing with people at all levels
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities
• Ability to communicate well internally when escalating tasks and helping the team to understand the business impact and urgency of an incident
• Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
• “Can do” attitude and ability to prioritise tasks whilst also adapting to demands is a must.
• Formal Education & Certification
• Knowledge and experience within ITIL V3 service environments (preferred)
• Working knowledge/experience with ServiceNow, Remedy or another Top Tier ITAM program.
• BS in an IT or Engineering related field (preferred)
