The Primary role of the MedTrans Fleet Administrator is to serve as primary support of the MedTrans Fleet Safety and Compliance Department.
Essential job responsibilities will include:
Driver Qualification Files - Assist and support the MedTrans Safety Administration coordinate completion of new-hire HR and Driver Qualification files. Review files for accuracy. Perform previous employer verifications of employment. Previous employer safety verifications, previous employer drug, and alcohol testing. Assist with the DOT FMCSA random drug and alcohol program. Distribute and collect DOT Drug Testing Forms, Change of Custody and Alcohol Test results.
Fleet Assets and Supplies - Assist and support the MedTrans Safety Administration and the Fleet Manager manage fleet assets through data entry and scanning of documents into a database. Assist with the distribution of license plates, registrations, insurance cards, IFTA cab cards and decals to field locations. Receive, review and code invoices for approval and process for payment.
Enter data in spreadsheets and/or databases used to manage drivers.

Safety Supplies
Review and replenish truck supplies. (Headlights, wiper blades, logbooks, DVIR books, Rear-view camera supplies, padlocks, etc.) Upon request from a branch, pack and ship requested supplies. Keep inventory of needed supplies and report supply request to their supervisor and/or responsible manager.
Answer telephone calls from the field and as forwarded when the director of fleet safety and compliance, fleet manager, and senior director of MedTrans is not available to answer calls.
Support MedTrans safety and management staff and Fleet Manager in general job functions, metrics and reporting.
All other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor, manager and/or director of the fleet safety and compliance and fleet management.
Secondary Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Safety Administrator with travel reservations (flight, hotel, and rental cars) for MedTrans meetings and/or travel requirements for MedTrans branch support by other drivers, lead drivers, supervisors, and managers. Scheduling of after meeting activities and food for meetings as well.
Monitor On-Line Training Programs, when directed - Review completion of online courses and notify branches of incomplete courses.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Bachelors Degree in a Business Related Field preferred. Relevant experience accepted in lieu of education.
