Job Description:

Working with the Director, functions as a facilitator for organizational LEAN and redesign implementation.  The primary function is facilitation of organizational or cross-departmental Rapid Improvement Events (RIE).  Coordinates planning, RIE, and follow-up activities for assigned redesign implementation. Trains, coaches and facilitates improvement efforts of redesign teams using the principles of LEAN, line management and staff throughout the organization.

Will develop and prepare materials for use in the events, coordinate with department management and participants, lead instruction on the use of process improvement tools, facilitate team decisions, manage team work, resolve team conflict, assist in the development of implementation action plans, facilitate and ensure implementation and conduct follow-up.

This position may also be asked to manage traditional projects.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required

Experience Requirements

• Five (5) or more years of related healthcare experience preferred


• LEAN and Six Sigma training


• Strong leadership presence.
