SUMMARY:

We are searching for an individual to join our team as a B2B Business application owner. This role manages and maintains the global B2B commerce site. This individual works with key business stakeholders and the IT product owner to define the scope of features, interpret the business needs and technical aspects, create technical and non-technical documentation, organize and facilitate User Acceptance testing, and represent both stakeholders and IT owners. This position is crucial to increasing development team efficiency while decreasing misinterpretation of stakeholder requirements, goals, and objectives.

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • You will define the expected business outcomes that are supported by the application in order to improve user experience (Product teams, Sales Reps / Sales manager / B2B customers) and ultimately revenue growth.

  • You will conduct workshops with multiple stakeholders from communication, technology, business and vendor teams. Demonstrate new and existing functionality. Concisely document their outcome. Gather data and business system requirements.

  • You will identify the criticality of selected application functions and the expected service level goals for application operations and support

  • You will identify the priority of IT support and project requests that impact the system together with the IT product Owner.

  • You will represent the application in business strategy discussions and ensure there is a short-term and long-term strategy for the application

  • You will describe and clarify business processes and terminology to help the IT organization understand the business benefits of the application.

  • You will review and approve the proposed functional recommendations from IT development teams.

  • You will control and prioritize all the business requests that are submitted to IT to ensure that limited IT resources are spending their time on high-value requests instead of low-priority requests.

  • You will formalize and communicate the Ecommerce B2B Roadmap to key business stakeholder on a regular basis.

 

 

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:

 


  • 5 year+ Experience developing ecommerce website requirements and/or requirements for related back end business systems.

  • Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how Global Technology needs to support Boardriders’ business in achieving revenue and profit goals

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions

  • Very high sense of service and are devoted to enable the business team to get the best from the application

  • SAP Sales Order entry and Sales order management flow will be a strong plus

  • You have good communication skills (writing and speaking)
