The Labeling and Coding Business Unit of Pro Mach is seeking a talented Business Analyst in Fort Worth, Texas. This position contributes to the success of the company by analyzing and improving processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness for the organization. This position will work the business process stakeholders to improve processes and the technical team to implement solutions.
In this role you will:
Perform business process design and requirements definition in conjunction with functional teams
Define and document requirements for process changes and development needs with necessary technical detail
Support Internal Analysis Users such as the Financial and Aftermarket Analysts as the data structure expert. It is important that these users have an expert to come to if they encounter difficulty in writing reports. It is not the expectation that the BA be primarily an analyst or report writer, but instead have a primary understanding to guide others in developing effective analysis tools.
Analyze and prioritize enhancement requests by identifying existing solutions and/or alternative solutions that optimally address the business needs and work with technical resources to fulfill enhancement requests
Communicate effectively with internal teams to deliver functional requirements
Act as a liaison between functional team and technical resources for enhancements. Provide functional requirements to development team and perform QA testing of requested enhancements
Provide support to systems users and work with technical team for break fixes.
Manage scope and requirements throughout the project life cycle
Assist in operational roll out and user training for new functionality & tools. This will require the person to be able to quickly learn a new system and effectively teach how to use it to the end users.
Primary team member on the Implementation Team for new acquisitions in the business unit. This includes sales, operations, and finance process understanding in addition to potential change management. This role is responsible for their team share of user training and support throughout the implementation and is not limited to the ERP system.
Demonstrate commitment to Continuous Improvement philosophy including support of all quality, safety, productivity, and performance improvement initiatives
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with an ERP system, preferably Infor SyteLine / CloudSuite
Proficiency in SQL
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Bachelor's Degree preferred
2+ years' experience in a similar role
Experience with project implementation and solution engineering
Ability to multi-task and work independently
Ability to identify priorities based on impact, resource utilization & business objectives
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
Ability to take strategic direction from executive management
Available for Regular & Recurrent Business Travel – Especially During Active Acquisitions
