Job Description:

The Role

Tesla
is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead, support, and
manage the field service activities for a largescale energy storage system at
Moss Landing in Monterey County, CA.  We are seeking an
experienced service manager with excellent oral and written communication
skills and demonstrated ability to manage. The primary job is to service,
troubleshoot, upgrade and maintain stationary batteries in conjunction with the
balance of plant transformers and equipment to ensure peak performance for the
182.5MW and 730 MWH system. Applicants should be self-motivated team players
with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities


  • Directs
    and manages multiple reports. Takes responsibility for system operational
    performance.

  • Supports
    the operation of projects in a safe, reliable and efficient manner.

  • Day
    to Day online monitoring, recording, identifying and handling incidents
    that interrupt power generation or general project functionality.

  • Record
    keeping included but not limited to Operational Maintenance Logs, Service
    Inquiries, Material Logistics/Procurement, Scheduling Job Personnel.

  • Manages
    external parties like public authorities, grid operator and others.

  • Manages
    customer service and Sub-Contractors, relationships and Contracts.

  • Collaborates
    with Organization Leaders of Design, Engineering and Construction teams.

  • Ensure
    Industrial Storage System will meet all obligations/performance guarantees
    and company standards.

  • Create
    and Manage Monthly reports for internal use and contract obligations

  • Manage
    Safety requirements within High Voltage job tasks

  • Implement
    safety procedures directed and approved by Organization (Environment,
    Safety and Health)

Requirements


  • 5+
    years’ experience working within Operations & Maintenance, Balance of
    Plant operations


    • Preferably with energy storage systems  


  • 3+ years Management Experience with Operations
    & Maintenance

  • Ability to manage voluminous amounts of data 

  • 2+ years’ experience creating Scopes of Work
    for maintenance or electrical services. 

  • Excellent computer skills especially using MS
    office

  • Excellent written and verbal skills both from a
    technical and client facing perspective 

  • Excellent customer service skills  

  • Clean MVR and valid Driver License 

  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance
    required 

  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative
    team environment

    70E Qualified Person (Arc Flash Training)
