Mission: The mission of this role is to grow the Cubic Digital Intelligence business significantly through developing an actionable strategy, sourcing, shaping, bidding, and winning new programs.
Job Summary: Focusing primarily on developing an actionable strategy, sourcing, shaping, bidding, and winning business opportunities outside the Company. Identifies and evaluates acquisitions, licensing / white label opportunities, customer engagement and strategic business alliances to achieve the Company's long-range growth goals.
This position works under limited supervision. Incumbents in this position exercise discretionary and decision-making authority. Organization is focused on delivering advanced full motion video (FMV), Imagery and Geospatial dissemination/management and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities to customers in the Defense and Intelligence communities.
Essential Job Duties and Related Outcomes:
Support the Vice President of Business Development and the Business Unit General Manager in developing business strategies that address our customer's most difficult problems while driving financial growth for the organization
Manage your business pipeline to meet bookings goals, while driving stage progression in accordance with the required timelines
Accountable to the VP of Business Development for new business bookings plan and forecast using data from Salesforce
Leverage market data / intelligence as well as customer understanding to develop annual business development objectives and execution plan
Define and maintain prioritized list of market driven requirements for application of annual Internal Research & Development budget
Lead the customer relationship, capture and proposal development processes
Minimum Job Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance - Active TS/SCI highly desirable
Four-year college degree and 8 years of relevant experience - MBA highly desirable. An additional 4 years or more of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a four-year college degree.
Previous experience with FMV, Imagery, GEOINT is preferred.
Demonstration of successful Business Development / Capture / Program Management experience with the DoD and Intelligence Community
Ability to organize, plan and execute contracts, agreements and strategic purchase orders
Advanced interpersonal skills in order to interact in extremely delicate, sensitive and/or complex situations dealing with U.S. and foreign agencies and commercial customers and suppliers
Must be able to travel up to 50%
Ability to prioritize projects and work under tight deadlines
