FMC Precision Agriculture team has an exciting opening for a Product Analyst to join a scum team. The right individual will have good understanding of the technical needs of a software development project, including middleware components and comfortable working with data needs across multiple teams. This position will be assisting in driving out requirements across multiple scrum teams to identify dependencies and ensure that there are not gaps in program requirements.

Key Responsibilities

    Lead the geographic expansion workstreams for Arc™ farm intelligence, design and drive the work plan to achieve critical readiness dates for multiple commercial launches
  • Understand and fit critical scientific goals and initiatives into IT solutions

·         Facilitate the definition and development of stories by the product owner and SMEs to meet the business needs.

·         Facilitate business process mapping and business stakeholder sessions.

·         Write requirements in the form of user stories that are emerging and follow the INVEST principle. Ensures stories and acceptance criteria are appropriately defined & documented.

·         Maintain healthy product backlog.

·         Work with Product Owner to address any conflicting business needs.

·         Document detailed functional & non-functional requirements, business rules, and reviews test cases.

·         Identify dependencies on other teams and collaborates and communicates timely and effectively.

Required Education

  • Master’s degree or higher in biological science, data science, MIS, or related field

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience using Jira/DevOps or similar product backlog management tool.

  • Possess excellent requirements gathering and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • A keen sense of translating the work back to the business value derived

  • Able to handle conflicts and approach negotiations in a diplomatic but confident manner

  • Must be able and willing to test when needed.

 

Additional desired qualifications:


  • Previous experience prioritizing and breaking down complex requests into small chunks

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business partners

  • The ability to be comfortable with the unknown, ask questions, be inquisitive, be a self-starter


  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to interact with other team members, architects, and business stakeholders as well as people of all levels in the company.

  • Has strong technical aptitude and be able to quickly demonstrate they can acquire technical proficiency in a new area.
