Medical Center of Trinity is currently accepting applications for a Florida-licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis to assist with call. Flexible availability to cover varied shifts on weekdays or weekends is necessary for consideration. Either ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification, BLS and hospital training required. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plans and facilitates the daily workflow in the Nuclear Medicine Department and performs all routine Nuclear Medicine procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • ARRT (N) or CNMT required
  • Valid Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
  • Knowledge of specialty equipment and tools, e.g., GAMMA cameras

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred; acute-care hospital setting also preferred
  • Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
