Research Systems Analyst at Boston Partners Global Investors, Inc in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Review database logs daily and address any issues.

·         Check exception reports for data content and accuracy.

·         Respond to ad-hoc data requests from various teams.

·         Streamline and automate processes.

·         Create new screens or reports as requested.

·         Assist in designing and developing in-house database and structure.

·         Maintain and expand internal website capabilities.

·         2-3 years of experience working with financial statements data.

·         Knowledge of common financial accounting metrics.

·         BS in Computer Science or similar degree required.

·         Have proficient programming skills, preferably within an object-oriented database or object-oriented programming              language.

·         Be highly attentive to detail, proactive, timely and must have strong communication skills.

·         Possess strong technical skills.

·         C++, Microsoft Visual Studio and Vision programming strongly preferred.

·         HTML, XSLT, CSS, XML, Javascript, Classic .ASP, Java, Perl, VBA a plus.

·         Must be comfortable working in Windows environment.
