Security Clearance required:

Cognosante is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join our team of creative and enthusiastic software development professionals who maintain a collaborative culture. EIS seeks individuals who bring not only technical astuteness, but also strong customer service orientation, creative problem solving ability and pride in a job well done. The position is located in Reston, VA and requires a DoD TS/SCI w/CI Poly clearance.

• Java developers - front end, back end, middle tier.


• Development environments include Java, Angular, Wildfly, Openshift, Docker, Jenkins, Git, Redmine, Artifactory, Postgres 10, some Cloud technologies (such as S3 and ElastiCache), Oracle, and Weblogic.


• Shift work is required; currently only 2-9pm shift is available.

Clearance:

• 
  DoD TS/SCI w/CI Poly is Required. All applicants must be willing to submit to a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination administered by the United States government.


• Work on site in a SCIF is required.

Qualifications:

• Shift work is required - currently only 2-9pm shift is available.


• BA or BS degree or equivalent work experience coding.


• 8 or more years of experience with software engineeing.


• Java developers - front end, back end, middle tier.


• Must have recent experience in some of these key areas: Java, Angular, Wildfly, Openshift, Docker, Jenkins, Git, Redmine, Artifactory, Postgres 10, some Cloud technologies (such as S3 and ElastiCache), Oracle, and Weblogic.


• Must be willing/able to be in key development/integration positions.


• Security+CE certification is preferred but not required.
