McLean Hospital is seeking a full time Clinical Social Worker Associate with an LCSW to provide case management services in the Child Bridge Clinic and Adult STAT Clinic. This position incloves outpatient dispositon planning for those patients referred for bridge model of treatemtn in the respective clinics who will then need to move to an outpatient treatment team in the community. The clinical social work associate will function as part of a clinic team and function as a primary liaison with the family, patient or significant others , referrers and community agencies and professionals to develop an approrpiate plan. The development of appropriate outpatient resourceswill be expected part of position

Supervision will be provided by a independently licensed social worker.

Qualifications

Education: MSW

License: Attaining license is not required upon hire to perform the essential duties of the job. However, as a condition of continued employment, it is a requirement that LCSW licensure is obtained within 12 months

Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills, ability to work collaboratively, with team and community resources

All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication, clinical and administrative purposes.

For eCare Clinical Positions:

Required to complete electronic medical records training, and demonstrate 80% accuracy on competency test within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications - External

Education/Licensure:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. MSN or DNP in psychiatric nursing or nursing education preferred.

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Experience:

5 years of progressively responsible psychiatric nursing experience. Previous experience as educator preferred.

Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, ability to utilize the nursing process and work collaboratively.

Previous experience working with nursing informatics or information systems preferred.
