This position is responsible for managing the HPR Operations Team for Distribution, Assembly, and Repair of Medical Device business segments. This position is responsible for meeting customer expectations, advancing continuous improvement initiatives, training and development, and ensuring quality assurance & regulatory compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages Placentia operations team for Distribution, Assembly, and Repair business segments
Day-to-day oversight of Operations Team to address bottlenecks, resource allocation and other productivity issues
Responsible for achieving production goals and on-time delivery performance for key customer segments
Develop first level departmental supervisory team
Actively promote safety awareness and practice throughout the facility
Advances continuous improvement initiatives
Drives projects to improve outcomes and efficiencies by leveraging quality management lean production methodologies
Partners with ERP applications team to drive process automation
Reviews, updates and creates operational SOPs as required. Coordinates updates with QA/Regulatory Team to assure QMS compliance
Establishes Business Intelligence Metrics and Reporting
Develop and monitor KPIs pertaining to on-time delivery, inventory management, order fill rates and operational costs
Monitors productivity metrics to provide feedback on TSM training and development
Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all standards and regulatory requirements are met including FDA, MDSAP, OSHA, ISO, and other standards
Collaborate with QA/Regulatory to enhance and improve effectiveness of operational processes for receiving/inspection, product compliance, and non-conforming material
Implement Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) as applicable to address issues and drive improvements
Inventories and Materials Management
Manages and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in inventory management, purchasing, and supply chain & logistics
Optimize inventory levels and control reserves
Qualifications
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 1 or more years of management experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

5+ years in Operations leadership positions, preferably within the regulated healthcare industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office
