Position Title: Personal Lines Account Executive
Business Unit: INSA
Reports to: Director of Personal Lines
Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for selling Personal Lines insurance and supporting the sales and servicing for Personal Lines. The incumbent is responsible for meeting new business sales goals as well as business development activities to assist in meeting those goals. Additional responsibilities include processing applications, reinstatements, and various servicing functions on existing policies under a book of business.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sells Personal Lines insurance policies to individuals on behalf of insurance companies and clients. Explains features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance plans and to customize for the client.
Performs business development activities including prospecting to the lines of business partners in Mortgage, Private Banking, Wealth Management and Retail Bank as well as agency partners and other sources.
Services existing clients including policy review and responding to service needs. Performs administrative tasks including customer inquiries, claims, mail processing and database records maintenance according to all appropriate regulations and procedures.
Attends meetings, seminars and programs to learn about new products and services, learns new skills and receives technical assistance in developing new accounts.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
