The team
Our Program Management team works on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative cross-border group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to deliver solutions from concept to launch - all while focusing on and advocating for what's best for our customers. We work closely with Product Management, Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to successfully bring the product to market.



This position
The Jira Admin will be responsible for the technical operation/administration enhancement, maintenance, integration and roll out of enterprise-wide Atlassian-based solutions (i.e JIRA, Confluence, internal applications and related integrations/plug-ins) across DocuSign. This role is accountable for high availability, performance and enhanced capabilities of the Atlassian product suite


This position will be part of a team responsible for owning, managing, defining and optimizing standard Atlassian tools and processes to drive Atlassian best practices and increased collaboration across various DocuSign teams.


This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Program Management - Engineering Process and Tools



Responsibilities



  • Create, manage, and support all administrative functions associated with the Atlassian product suite

  • Gather requirements for business processes and determine ways to optimize and improve JIRA/Confluence setup and workflows, as well as identify where functionality needs to improve to meet user requests

  • Define and manage the rollout of comprehensive workflows (with conditions, validators, and triggered post functions), screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes

  • Promote adoption and best practices among the Atlassian user community

  • Conduct user-training and help-sessions for new and existing custom features and implementations

  • Proactively plan and implement upgrades for the Atlassian product suite and related plugins, and support licensing and user management to support 4000+ local and remote users

  • Manage system access and permissions configurations to ensure compliance and enforce best practices

  • Partner with other departments/business area to coordinate infrastructure maintenance and system migrations. Establish and maintain proactive communication with stakeholders

  • Create, manage and support on how to leverage Atlassian REST for users to automate manual processes, implement business processes and extract data for reporting and analytics purposes

  • Able to create Jira based reports, dashboards and planning views based on different user requirements and provide stakeholders with actionable project metrics and status reports

  • Collaborate with existing vendors/Docusign teams for support, troubleshooting, and analyze RCAs for technical issues/mitigation steps



Basic Qualifications



  • 5+ years of Program Management experience with a Bachelors degree and or equivalent experience. Technical program management experience implementing and operating applications

  • Knowledge of the Atlassian product suite at admin and super-user level

  • Knowledge of Scrum, Agile and continuous integration and continuous deployment practices

  • Familiarity with project management tools like MS Project, Smartsheets, Open Project etc.

  • Detail oriented team player with strong skills developing collaborative relationships

  • Ability to troubleshoot user and system-level issues and deliver scalable and timely solutions.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Knowledge of migrating, merging various Atlassian deployment like Jira Cloud, Datacenter


  • Atlassian Certified Professional credentials

  • Have working knowledge of one or more programming languages/technologies such as HTML, Python, Java, SQL, Linux etc.

  • Knowledge of analyzing Atlassian system/application logs and able to extract actionable information.

  • Knowledge of change management methodologies used to drive organizational change

  • Excellent decision-making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to share technical and non-technical knowledge across all levels of the organization

  • Working knowledge of operating, supporting important Atlassian plugins like Advanced Roadmap(Jira Portfolio), eazyBI and Adaptavist Scriptrunner or similar plugins
