We're looking for a passionate, motivated, and collaborative Senior UX Designer to help lead the future vision of the IdeaExchange. Collaborate, ideate, laugh, learn, and problem-solve with our team of product, engineering, and UX partners. Help drive concept development, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, visual design, and research. Our team places support, growth, teamwork, and trust at the forefront.
Responsibilities
Collaboration with product managers, developers, and designers
Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform decisions
Communicate ideas and concepts designs to key stakeholders
Solve complex flows and interactions through diagrams and wireframes
Build prototypes to validate designs for desktop and mobile
Systems thinker through application of existing design system
Understand use cases for recommending new design system patterns
Conduct research through user interviews, usability studies, surveys
Contribute to team process and collaboration methods
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant work experience in user experience
B.A./B.S. or M.A./M.S. in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), design related field or related industry experience
Solid understanding of user-centered design methods and processes
Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g. UX, Product, Engineering)
Ability to clearly articulate design decision and direction
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail
Willingness to work in an agile and fast-paced environment when necessary
Mobile web and responsive design experience
Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Illustrator and other design tools
Familiarity with HTML/CSS and accessibility best-practices
