Our most strategic and highest value customers require a new model of Salesforce Enterprise Architecture partnership in order to ensure customer success, continuous innovation and realization of business value. We call this the "Dedicated Enterprise Architect". The Dedicated EA is the Salesforce Enterprise Architecture leader at the customer tasked with delivering transformational business outcomes with our customers. The Dedicated EA aligns with customer Executive Leadership, IT, line of business leaders in order to help customers realize their most strategic goals. The Dedicated EA earns the role of trusted advisor and wins the hearts and minds of the customer by developing and executing blueprints (based on Salesforce Illuminate methodology). As a Dedicated Architect you are responsible for:
Aligning closely customer Executive Leadership and driving the digital outcomes with a strategic vision. Dedicated Enterprise Architect brings Salesforce Enterprise Architecture PoV and vision to facilitate and accelerate these conversations and their outcomes.
Collaborating with the Salesforce Account team, participate in account strategy & planning, developing Enterprise Architecture POV, Vision and roadmap for action-based execution.
Working with Salesforce Account Executive Sponsor to drive executive, impactful customer briefings and executive programs.
Coordinating closely with customer success, product development and other departments to drive industry capability leadership, technical alignment, priorities, accelerators and other programs.
Partnering with Customer Enterprise Architects to elevate Salesforce Customer Success Platform and Illuminate to corporate standards, making Salesforce the platform of choice.
Driving time-to-value realization for customers by collaborating with SI implementation partners to leverage enterprise architecture best practices to facilitate rapid, successful solution deployments.
This role will be aligned to the Industrial Products/ Consumer Markets/ Energy, Utilities + Chemicals business segments: The Industrial business segment consists of Salesforce customers and prospects across Manufacturing, Automotive, Engineering and Construction. The Consumer Markets business segment consists of Salesforce customers and prospects across Professional Services, Travel, Transportation & Hospitality, and General Services. The Energy, Utilities and Chemicals business segment consists of Salesforce customers and prospects across Oil & Gas, Utilities and Chemicals. Our strategic customers in these segments are typically in digital optimization or digital transformation phases and Salesforce typically is alignment with key customer C-level executives to digital outcomes.

Trusted advisor to Customer CIO/Chief Architects/LoB leadership/ CEOs and their teams as they look to drive digital outcomes, new business models and transformation.
A true asset to Salesforce due to broad and deep knowledge of business and technical architecture across all relevant domains.
Customer ambassador within our products and GTM/ Industry organizations, driving Salesforce product capabilities excellence.
B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
10+ years experience in either Enterprise software, systems or enterprise architecture disciplines
Good understanding of the architectural principles of cloud based platforms including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, etc.
Good understanding of all cloud offerings in the market and ability to discuss cloud architectures
Good understanding of enterprise application integration, including SOA, ESB, EAI, ETL environments as well as common EA topics such as process orchestration, BPM, CEP, MDM, BI/BA, etc.
Good understanding of the security processes, standards & issues involved in multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications
Familiar with principles of network, application and information security
Good understanding of enterprise application integration technologies as well as common EA topics such as persona based journeys, process orchestration, master data management, analytics and insights, artificial intelligence, etc.
Systems thinker, articulate and balanced in demeanor with crisp written and verbal communication skills
Prior industry Enterprise Architecture practitioner in Industrial Products, Consumer Markets and Energy
Previous practitioner and/or implementation experience of Salesforce solutions or relevant solutions
Familiar with relevant (regional, vertical, etc.) data privacy and compliance requirements
Familiar with solution selling
Experience in sales/pre-sales strongly desired
Experience of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, etc.
Familiar with design thinking and similar principles
