Summary of Job Duties:

The UAConnect Associate Director serves as the UAConnect technical lead by guiding the system technical and security efforts. This position participates in strategic planning, manages the creation of system policies and procedures, and provides recommendations and subject matter expertise to the director, UAConnect leads and campus entities.

The UAConnect Associate Director oversees the UAConnect user experience efforts by working closely with the business units, campus departments and end-users in support of the day-to-day operations of UAConnect. This position manages budgetary unit.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution of higher education


  • Experience in all aspects of a student information system, including an understanding of functional and technical processes


  • Experience in the PeopleSoft environment


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education or equivalent work experience


  • Experience in higher education


  • Experience in Workday


  • Extensive experience working in UAConnect
