We're seeking an experienced, outcome driven product owner, to join our team. As an EB Product Owner, you will help define and champion a clear vision for your product and ensure that vision becomes reality. You'll find the convergence of value, feasibility, and usability.

Responsibilities

• Champion the product vision


• Align user, business, and product goals to tactical sprint level goals through strategic planning and the product roadmap


• Deeply understand user and customer needs, pain points, and opportunities for delight


• Build and ruthlessly prioritize both an opportunity and release backlog, working collaboratively to move from opportunities and epics to "right sized" dev ready user stories


• Serve as the Scrum Product Owner on the product development team


• Work closely with Product Marketing to coordinate releases


• Launch new products and features with a highly detailed and thoughtful testing approach


• Evaluate product performance and identify opportunities with data as your guide


• Become a subject matter expert on your personas, product, competitors/industry, and marketplace trends


• Constantly work to optimize internal processes and the product experience

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with at least 2 years of product management / product owner experience


• Ability to collaborate across functions and levels with multiple stakeholders


• Comfort with data, including integrating learning into decision making and prioritization process


• A track record of successfully bringing new products and features to market


• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to be clear and concise


• Deep understanding of product life cycle, agile, and product management fundamentals


• Curiosity and a lifelong learner, demonstrating a drive to become a better product practitioner


• Demonstrates a sense for what makes a product successful


• Highly collaborative


• Bachelor's degree

Nice to Haves

• Experience in HR tech / staffing industry and/or marketplaces (gig economy)


• Knowledge of data science


• Graduate degree (MBA, MS)


• Technical background


• Experience working in Aha or similar product planning applications


• Mobile experience


• Startup or corporate innovation experience


• CSPO certification
