As a member of the Research & Insights team, the Research & Insights Coordinator will be involved in all facets of research from assessing/responding to the needs of the internal sales and marketing teams to packaging insight deliverables. This role is based in New York City reports to the Research & Insights Director.
Core Responsibilities:
Be a core support for the Research Director in handling daily research requests received from the local and national sales and marketing teams
Provide insights and research for RFP proposals, new business pitches, POV's, case studies, social media content, etc.
Cultivate the resources that will provide sales and marketing teams with the insights and knowledge to both promote OOH advertising media and to differentiate OUTFRONT from its competitors
Disseminate information in a creative and easy-to-use format to be incorporated into a range sales and marketing materials
Work with internal teams on the development and execution of research and insights projects
Assist in the creation of category overviews and insights
Research media and industry trends
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
2-3 years' experience in a marketing, consumer insights, research role at a brand, agency, or media company (OOH experience a plus)
Comfortable analyzing data, interpreting insights and communicating findings
A good understanding of qualitative and quantitative research
Experience working with syndicated research tools (MRI, Scarborough, Simmons), industry resources (Geopath, Claritas, OAAA) and third-party resources (Mintel, eMarketer, WARC)
Comfortable working with people of all levels and across all departments
Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Able to work in a fast-moving environment and meet deadlines
A passion for market research and consumer insights, likes to keep up to date with industry/media news
Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
Experience writing/programming/executing proprietary research/surveys and with online panels (Vision Critical, Qualtrics or others) is preferred but not required
