We are currently searching for a Molding Operator to be based out of Weatherford, TX. Reporting to the Molding Manager, the Molding Operator's primary focus will be tending the machines, packaging parts, basic material handling and to accomplish daily production goals.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system based company is a plus.

Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Runs various machinery in Molding Department

  • Has knowledge on safety procedures for each machine, E-Stops, pinch points, etc.

  • Inform Molding Manager of any possible safety hazards or ideas of improving safety. (LSNI goal is 5 per month)

  • Has knowledge of startup and shutdown procedures for each machine and can perform these functions.

  • Keeps machines loaded with raw material and running at all times

  • Does QC specifications on finished product throughout the run

  • Does QC paperwork on finished product throughout the run every two (2) hours

  • Verifies quantities per box, per pallet, part number and labels are correct

  • Keeps accurate records in the shift log for any necessary machine adjustments, and logs production/quality data on metrics board as required.

  • Maintenance and cleanup for production and storage areas.

  • Know and follow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE (safety glasses, ear plus, steel-toe shoes, gloves)

  • Able to prioritize tasks and anticipate needs in order to effectively manager time in order to accomplish all tasks

  • Housekeeping in assigned area

  • All other assigned duties

Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

  • Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization

  • Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner

  • Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment

  • Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
