We are looking for someone with several years of experience in strategic consultancy, banking and/or within a corporate strategy or related function in the media space to help shape Dow Jones' global strategy across consumer and B2B businesses.
The candidate will work closely with senior executives to help shape the strategic direction of the company and will also be involved with the evaluation of M&A and other investment opportunities. He or she will be highly analytical, with strong quantitative/commercial skills and presentation skills. He or she will also possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Masters/MBA is not required.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will report to the VP of Strategy of Dow Jones and will work within the broader Dow Jones strategy, M&A and market intelligence team.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Use strategy consulting toolkit to think through complex problems in a commercial, structured way
Work collaboratively across the business and with senior stakeholders to find new opportunities for Dow Jones
Create cohesive, compelling and fact-based presentations
Create materials for executive decision-makers (briefings/memos/slides)
Keep executive team informed of market developments and competitive threats
Support ongoing development and program management of M&A and investment opportunities
