The Director of Diagnostic Imaging provides leadership of the Radiology function, clinical services, and programs. Ensures the selection, retention , training, and assignment of competent workforce to ensure effective delivery of departmental services. Demonstrates accountability for monitoring utilization of departmental resources, physical space, equipment, department protocols, standards, policies, practices.

South Bay Hospital is a 138-bed, acute care hospital serving Sun City Center, Ruskin, Wimauma, Riverview, Apollo Beach, Gibsonton and the surrounding areas. With 185 physicians and 550 employees, the hospital is located just off of I-75, which provides easy access to Tampa, the airport and a wide range of sporting and cultural events.

The hospital just completed a major expansion which includes a three-story patient tower, beautiful private rooms and state of the art ICUs.

Qualifications

Education:

Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School or Radiology Technology

Experience:

Three (3) years previous experience as Radiology Tech

Three (3) years previous supervisory experience as a Asst. Director Radiology or Director.

License/Registration:

Current Radiology Technologist license in the State of Florida

Certifications:

ARRT

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
