Required Skills :
• Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing/Process/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field
• Have MES deployment, implementation, upgrade experience using MES systems such as Rockwell FTPC/Thingworx, Siemens Op Center, Ignition, Aveva, Apriso
• Integration experience with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, and SQL Server
• Knowledgeable in continuous and batch manufacturing such as process skids, filtration, distillation, fermentation, oil&gas, plastics, and chemical processing.
• A key player in large MES deployment programs across various industries such as Food&Bev, Chemical Industry
Job Description:
• Develop machine/asset models defining object attributes and characteristics
• Create process flow diagrams detailing interactions across L0 to L4
• Within Process flows, incorporate inspection tasks and analyses, track WIP, enforce business/manufacturing rules, maintain inventory, alert maintenance
• Prepare user requirements and functional design documents by collaborating with plant sites and customer teams capturing detailed business needs, pain points, and aspirations centered on business strategies
• Facilitate machine data acquisition necessary for MES for current and legacy technology for equipment like valves, tanks/vessels, heaters, bioreactors, pumps, mixers, heat exchanges, and filtration.
• Define enterprise business requirements and flows
• Help client with business value assessments and justification addressing pain points and opportunities
• Configure MES systems and assist in data loading
• Perform or aid in unit and system testing
• Lead training initiatives such as content, in-person, and remote
• Develop validation test cases and performing IQ,OQ, PQ testing
• Interface testing between MES and other systems such as ERP, LIMS, LES, PLM, CRM, EAM, Doc Management, and SCADA/Historian
• Interface with support equipment such as Weight Scales, Barcode Scanners, RFID, and Terminals including legacy and current technology
• Develop implementation schedules for greenfield, rip and replace, expansion, and upgrades
• Perform troubleshooting bringing in the right resources minimizing client disruption
Collaborate with remote teams and locations around the world such as operations, QC/QA, maintenance, IT, training, procurement, materials management.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong foundation with manufacturing standards such as S95, S88, ISO-62240, GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11/ ERES
• Understand historian integration like PI or Aspen Tech.
• Manufacturing Domain Knowledge - Production, Quality, Maintenance, Warehousing
• Smart Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 concepts
• MES and ERP Design/Configuration experience
• Knowledge and skill to troubleshoot interface or integration issues between various manufacturing systems using a methodical process
• Competent with design and workflow tools to create diagrams
• Excellent communication skills and working with remote teams
• Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and drive successful results through partnerships and across departments Self-starter and able to work independently
• Sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills in handling balanced, complex issues
