SCCC is currently hiring a Human Resources Specialist.
The Human Resources Specialist aids with and facilitates the human resource processes for all business locations. Provides for the efficient and effective functioning of the HR team by assisting the Chief Workforce Officer coordinating and administering of a variety of HR activities and projects. This role administers employee health and welfare plans. They provide administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Essential Functions:
Maintain & update OnePointHCM (HRIS) systems for all HR related activities.Administer benefits programs and assist staff with benefits education and enrollment.
Develop and maintain recruitment activities and succession pipeline development.
Support the CWO with candidate and employee experience programs.
Assist CWO with customizing performance evaluation and assist supervisors when needed with performance evaluations.
Manage FMLA, workers compensation, EEOC reporting, and unemployment programs.
Manage all required documents and maintain complete confidentiality on sensitive personnel materials.
Document, review, and track various HR functions on an ongoing basis.
Ensure policies and procedures are in place for employee health and safety, and complete staff trainings.
Ensure compliance with state and federal statutes regarding HR activities.
Accurately complete any HR reporting.
Create, update and report on data gathering methods and results.
Update and manage HR organizational processes and procedures.
Create and manage all eLearning platforms with assistance from the HR assistant.
Process employees' queries and respond in a timely manner.
Assist Payroll Coordinator, Finance, and Accounting with all payroll processes.
Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned.
