Properly identifies patients throughout the accessioning process.# Enters and verifies correct patient demographic information from the requisition. Performs tissue embedding.# Properly identifies patients throughout process.# Prepares slides and stains according to SOP. Maintains equipment and reagents as identified on maintenance schedules. Documents all equipment maintenance. Troubleshoots equipment and procedures and demonstrate a good working knowledge of equipment functions. Performs Quality Control according to established procedures. Meets or exceeds the quality guidelines and turnaround times as established by our Pathologists.
