Job Description Summary:
Being an intern at CFA Institute means contributing to our mission of advancing ethics, market integrity, and professional standards of practice in the investment management industry. You'll have the chance to put academic principles learned in the classroom into practice in a real-world environment through hands-on project work and professional development opportunities. The Intern will actively support programs and projects within the CTO Unit and under close mentorship, undertake a range of ongoing activities of varying levels and professional complexity. Ultimately, the Intern will serve as a member of a professional team, interacting with colleagues, peers, and other stakeholders in the planning and implementation of projects and the execution CFA Institute's mission and values.
This specific internship will provide an opportunity to deliver one or more technology solutions within the CFA Institute ecosystem for the benefit of our stakeholders. This position will be involved in envisioning the need of and designing the solution from a customer first perspective. This position will be responsible for designing and planning for the technology involved, coding and configuring systems to build out a solution, testing the solution and delivering it to constituents. Each step along our Software Development Lifecycle will be directly supported by staff professionals.
