POSITION SUMMARY

This leadership position assists the VP, Account Management withsetting the strategy, oversight and set-up of ESI Pharma rebate contracts for a large, strategic client. This leader has responsibility for Medicare, Commercial Government,Managed Medicaid and Federal books of business as well as working on our overall Commercial rebate strategy and management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Assisting the VP, Account Managementdetermining manufacturer, product class, and drug tactics and executing on these tactics.


  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on product class strategies and approaches with pharmaceutical manufacturers for our Commercial book of business that creates "win-win" opportunities.


  • Consult and provide insight on client formulary and rebate requests or market strategies.


  • Work cross-functionally with the ESI Pharma Strategy team to ensure contract executionthat is aligned withoverall strategy.


  • Collaborate to ensure all matrices and relevant information are provided to appropriate parties to ensure accuracy in modeling, insights and strategy delivery.


  • Oversees rebate set-up team for accuracy in billing and reporting.


  • Provide financial oversight for management of rebate reconciliation and issue management.


  • Support the Clinical Account Team asneeded for collaboration and insight across the team.


  • Develop, mentor and cross-train talent is acritical component of this position.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • 10 years of relevant experience.


  • BS/BA withMBA preferred.


  • Experience with rebate management and modeling, rebate operations and formulary strategies.


  • Strong financial acumen with an understanding of supply chain dynamics.


  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well with both internal and external teams and stakeholders.


  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.


  • Solid negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade while balancing the needs of the organization and external partners.


  • Adaptable with the ability to navigate complex dynamics and ambiguity. Ability to effectively cope with multiple issues and setbacks.


  • Honest, direct and transparent communication style.
