As the Senior BI Analytics Expert, you will be responsible for conducting analyses using data mining techniques and advanced statistics to enable better decision making and delivering business value. You will also design, develop, maintain reports and processes, and related analysis in support of the North America Aftermarket Solutions organization. You will collaborate with multiple business functions including: Materials Management, Purchasing, Parts Life Cycle, Logistics, Finance, and Operations. The ideal candidate will be creative, analytical, and a business-focused problem solver who is passionate about working with data and building actionable data analytic solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and utilize processes and reporting that will provide critical insight to the Aftermarket Solutions organization
Generate analytic insights to determine root cause of KPI performance deviations
Work collaboratively with other departments to develop meaningful dashboards and reports
A client-service mindset and a desire to take on tough and challenging projects
The scope and variety of work can change frequently depending on the current project portfolio
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or other relevant technical discipline OR Associates degree with 7+ years relevant technical disipline
5+ years experience in supply chain or demand forecasting
5+ years experience with reporting & BI tools, for example: Cognos, Qlik Sense, Qlik View, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
The preferred candidate will have experience with the following:
8-10 years of experience in supply chain or demand forecasting
8-10 years of experience with reporting & BI tools, for example: Cognos, Qlik Sense, Qlik View, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
Proficient with SQL queries, Automation of Reporting, Cognos 11, Excel / VBA
Ability to apply statistical methods to improve business processes, for example: Minitab
Understand data warehouse concepts, dimensional data models, and architectures.
