Lead & manage the development of the planning, design and implementation of new and innovative business-critical systems.
Develop strategies, requirements and roadmaps for implementation of internal applications as well as tools and platforms that are delivered to clients
Design excellent programs and/or optimize existing processes, using principles of efficiency, simplicity, leverage, data utilization, and change management.
Manage development and implementation of new systems and capabilities that align with Gartner's overall business and Research & Advisory priorities and goals and ensure the success of the programs.
Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
Develop business cases, project scopes, and plans, specifying process definitions, Research & Advisory organizational capabilities and define business requirements
Manage multiple complex work streams within overall business analysis programs
Lead individual project teams; coach, mentor and develop program and project managers and other team members
Work with the business owners to scope and prioritize projects within portfolio
Team lead for the program management of the design of system solutions that meets near and long term business requirements, including consideration of people, process and technology elements.
Document, analyze, and prioritize current state and "pain points" and ensure program designs include solutions to them
Apply program and project management best practices to multiple ongoing projects to ensure all deliver as expected, resources are utilized efficiently and business impact is maximized
Provide communications and change management support to programs and individual projects within them
Provide input and support to Research & Advisory and Strategy and Operations teams where required
Job Requirements
8+ years business experience, including demonstrated success in leading the design, development and implementation of optimized complex collaborative business systems and related change management expertise, within a large, fast paced, complex, global work environment.
Familiarity with online tools and platforms, as well as research methodology, client engagement and service processes preferred.
Knowledge and experience in a fast-paced agile environment.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex programs and projects with multiple work streams that involve virtual, distributed teams and a diverse set of stakeholders.
Excellent negotiation, influencing, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of senior leader roles and titles.
Evidence of building, developing and leading collaborative teams and hiring great talent
Demonstrated experience of leading successful teams, coaching and mentoring team members
In depth experience in the research industry
Experience of creating and delivering training materials
