JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Coordinator to join the RH Domestic Transportation team. Our department moves RH's products all over North America using various modes of transportation. We need someone who is willing & able to support the movement of goods for our clients and our cross functional customers. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly learn about the various methods that merchandise is transported and possess the interpersonal skills to work with business partners to move what they need moved. This exciting role will have the opportunity to be exposed to several cross-functional departments opening several paths for future growth and development.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proactively track in-transit shipments to monitor on time delivery using the latest shipment visibility tracking tools
Collaborate with internal customers and our network of transportation providers to arrange for the shipment of goods
Solicit rate quotes from carriers and exercising sound judgment when deciding which carriers to use balancing service with cost.
Approve or decline additional carrier accessorial charges
Support the domestic transportation mission to find high performing carriers and address underperforming carrier issues
Answer and respond to inquiries. These inquiries are generally load-tracking questions, rescheduling deliveries, and helping move product.
